South Asian Community Link Group-Australasia (SACLG) is pleased to informthat theExecutive committee and AGM meetingheld on Sunday 10 May 2015 elected unanimously a new executive team for the next two years terms 2015 to 2017. The following are the members of the new executive team.

SACLG is a non-religious, nonpolitical, not for profit organization which was established in February 2010 by representatives from 9 different countries with the goal to develop SACLG as a think tank, works as a conduit between Australia and South Asia regionto help establish a strong linkage to promote greater understanding between South Asian cultures and Australian way of life and advocate harmony, unity and peace amongst multifaiths to help build strong multiculturalism in Victoria. Itsmain objectives are:
- Organize discussion forum on contemporary topics of relevance to South Asian Region and Australia.
- Work closely with South Asian Community’s organizations on issues of community’sinterests and concerns.
- Organize multifaiths workshop /seminar to increase broader understandings amongst various faiths
- Organize interactive dialog forum between Government representatives and SACLG groups.
- Represent SACLG to VMC and Government meetings at state and federal levels and provide feedback and input in policies matters of the South Asian region.
- Work closely with Australian governments both at State and Federal levels and play a proactiverole topromote goodwill between South Asian region and Australia.
